Cavenaghi S.p.A. was founded by Giovanni Cavenaghi in 1959 with the objective supplying the foundry industry with a comprehensive line of chemical products produced using innovative and often revolutionary manufacturing techniques. Today Cavenaghi also manufactures products for applications outside of the foundry industry, but the common denominator associated with Cavenaghi products is quality, reliability and punctuality of delivery.

Shortly after its founding, in 1963 Cavenaghi S.p.A. relocated its office and manufacturing facility from Milan to the nearby suburb of Lainate, where it resides today. Cavenaghi's manufacturing facility is recognized for its use of "state of the art" process technology, which is constantly updated and improved to maintain its reputation for superior product quality.

The management and employees at Cavenaghi are dedicated to preserving the quality of the environment. The manufacturing processes and techniques used in Lainate exceed legal requirements and are constantly improved, in almost all cases, before new environmental regulations are imposed.
The functionality and efficiency of the antipollution systems currently employed at Cavenaghi are constantly monitored to assure a safe, clean operating environment.
